New General Valuation of real estate at prices 01/01/2018
It was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic, on 31/05/2019, K.D.P. 190/2015, No. 5163, notice of a General Valuation of real estate located throughout Cyprus at prices 1/1/2018, for ensuring a modern and uniform valuation of real estate located throughout Cyprus.
The access to the characteristics of the properties that have been used for the conduct of the New General Assessment at prices 1.1.2018, as well as to the new values, is done through the electronic service of the Department of Lands and Surveys. Applications for CORRECTION OF GENERAL ASSESSMENT ERRORS in real estate characteristics or OBJECTION OF GENERAL ASSESSMENT regarding the new values at prices 1.1.2018 are submitted only electronically through the ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS service, of the Land Registry Department.
The Department of Lands and Surveys has notified the Municipality of Athienou of data in relation to the New General Assessment of real estate at prices 1/1/2018.
Municipal real estate tax, Article 74 – Municipalities Law.
The imposition of a Municipal Real Estate Tax for each tax year is made on the last published value of the real estate, those of 1/1/2018 for now, and is regulated by the provisions of Article 74 of the Municipalities Law.
The offices of the Municipality of Athienou remain at the disposal of the public for service and for further information on the subject.
